**A gentle 4-week experience**

Being a pre-teen or teenager can feel overwhelming at times ….. school pressures, social challenges, and the ups and downs of growing into independence can all weigh heavily on a young person’s mind and body. Our *Reiki Infused Crystal Sound Therapy* classes are designed to offer teens a safe, calming space to pause, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

Over 4 weeks, teens will experience the gentle yet powerful vibrations of crystal singing bowls, combined with the soothing energy of Reiki. These sessions encourage deep relaxation while supporting emotional balance and overall wellbeing.

Distance Reiki, also known as remote Reiki or distant healing, is a form of Reiki energy healing that is not limited by physical proximity.   The Reiki practitioner uses intention, focus, and specific techniques to direct healing energy to the recipient, even if they are miles away. The practitioner taps into the universal life force energy and sends it through their intention to the person in need of healing, whether they are across the room, across town, or even across the world.

During a Distance Reiki session, the recipient typically relaxes in a quiet space, just as they would during an in-person session. The practitioner may use a photo, name, or description of the recipient to help focus their energy. While Distance Reiki can be received without physical touch, the recipient often experiences similar sensations to an in-person session, such as deep relaxation, warmth, or a sense of calm and peace.

Distance Reiki can be just as powerful and effective as in-person sessions, as it taps into the same universal life force energy. It offers a convenient and accessible way for people to experience the benefits of Reiki healing from the comfort of their own home, wherever they may be.

Reflexology is a non invasive gentle therapy suitable for babies from birth.  Tiny babies, children and adults can all benefit from this ancient therapy that has been used for centuries to bring about healing, balance and a sense of well-being.  It is based on the principle that all our body parts and bodily systems are reflected on the feet.  By applying gentle massage and therapeutic touch to specific reflex points, will have an effect in the corresponding body part and whole child.

Paediatric treatments are shorter in length than adults, usually lasting 20/30 minutes or the length of time a child’s attention can be engaged.  As a child progresses through secondary school, sessions may become longer and could range up to 45 minute sessions. These will be gauged on the individual child’s requirements for treatment.  Older children are more than welcome to experience a treatment whilst plugging in their earphones and listening to music or watch their favourite programmes.  This experience is all about them and treating them correspondingly.  

Children seem to respond and react to the healing of reflexology at a quicker rate than adults, therefore seeing more noticeable changing in a shorter period of time.

Reflexology is an holistic, powerful complementary therapy which considers the whole person, including their physical, mental and emotional health, while taking social factors into account.

Reflexology is practiced using gentle pressure with only the fingers and thumbs on points of the feet.  These points reflect specific area of the body.  In this way the body is encouraged to work to 100% of its capacity, returning the body’s systems to a natural state of balance, enhancing the recipient’s own natural healing capabilities.  At the end of your treatment your reflexologies will be able to advise a suitable course of treatment for your individual needs.
